Making stuff

This is Serious Mum

Made a few things for Redbubble. Its funny the things that actually sell, but the big seller from my store is an ugly tiki, the refined works don't sell as well as the gnarly quick fire sketch that I did as a test drawing while I worked on improving and critiquing the original piece. I have no idea what that actually says. Maybe I'm a terrible critic or self teacher? The first idea is always the best one? (something I always relied on in Law ironically)
Ugly as bro

Had my YouTube channel demonetised. Not enough subscribers apparently. I never really made any money out of it. but  changing the terms of contracts after the fact is  illegal, but I don't think I have the stamina to sue the monolith that is Google for  breach of contract, its hard to define damages when you don't make that much out of them anyway. Google had been slowly pulling advertising from a lot of my videos, and because I shoot punk rock, with you know, immature adult themes and bad words. But I never made my youtube channel to make money or get famous or anything like that. Its was a place to put the things I make up for the world to see.

Surprisingly I have had a lot of views and clicks, write ups and links especially for some obscure shows I found of the Beastie Boys and Butthole Surfers  and Iron Maiden. The reason I do it is to document the local bands I see. I know they are going to split up in a few years and youtube will be there allowing me to make a document in time of things I've seen and done. Also gives me an outlet for my creativity in filmmaking, something I've been doing for 30 years (shooting bands in smoky, booze filled venues) After thirty years I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.
